Abstract
A 51-year-old woman presented with aspecific clinical symptoms of the thoracic spine.
Radiological survey showed a tumour mass at T3-T4. Initial microscopic evaluation was suggestive of renal cell carcinoma metastasis. Lack of a primary tumour and revision of the specimens changed the diagnosis into chordoma.
